HF is good for what they are when they stay true to what they are, and that's lower quality tools for a much lower price. And if that's the case it's pretty misleading marketing to make a 'premium' saw to be a visual rip-off of another, but not spend the money and R&D to actually make it function similarly. If that's the case, they basically took a $100 saw, put DeWalt look-alike cladding on the outside, and tripled the price. Copying the appearance of the DeWalt does not mean they've copied the quality or accuracy. See above, it seems like this HF saw is missing the same geared fence that the DeWalt has.
